Brilliance is an online retailer of Engagement Rings, Fine Jewelry, and Certified Diamonds located in Boynton Beach, Florida. In business for over twenty years, we are expanding our current online presence to become a leading e-commerce site for diamonds and jewelry.
Job Description
Brilliance.com is looking to hire a full-time, experienced, and highly motivated Web Developer immediately. We are seeking a well-rounded engineer with attention to detail and the ability to think through complex problems. The candidate will be developing Brilliance's e-commerce website using Drupal and Ubercart.
Candidates should be results-oriented and possess strong technical, leadership, analytical, and communication skills and be able to work independently while still functioning as part of a team. The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up environment, is dedicated to his/her work, and enjoys a challenge.
Required Skills
- Web-site development/architecture experience with PHP in a LAMP environment
- PHP/MYSQL (both knowledge and experience)
- Drupal/Ubercart
- LINUX, APACHE
- XHTML, CSS, DIV's, W3C Standards, Cross Browser
- JAVASCRIPT (jQuery), AJAX
- Web Application / Services integration (XML, XSL, SOAP)
- Ability to produce clearly written and documented code
- E-commerce and Shopping Cart development
Experience & Qualifications
- 3 + years experience as a programmer/developer
- Drupal (CMS Framework, Themes, Modules, Core, etc.)
- Proven experience developing professional B2C web sites (full project life cycle)
- Experience with web development based on open source platforms
- Experience and understanding of cross browser compatibility issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, or other related field.
