Hello,
We are a small, but fast-growing web design studio, based in the Vancouver BC area, that specializes in CMS development using Drupal. We have a steadily increasing workload from a mix of various sized projects and we're looking for someone that we can outsource work to on an on-going, regular basis.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of Drupal programming experience, and be a self-starter, with solid programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic. Since this is a telecommuting/contract position, you must be willing to be well connected via msn, google talk, or skype.
Required Skills:
* Experienced with custom Drupal module development, key contributed modules and the core API
* Proficient in PHP, MYSQL and JavaScript
* Proficient in hand-coding HTML and tableless CSS
* Thorough understanding and proven implementation of W3C Web Standards
* Experience in Unix/Linux administration
* Experience integrating open source and third party applications into existing systems
Additional Assets:
* Experience with AJAX and jQuery
* Familiarity with Subversion revision control system
* Active contributor in the Drupal community
We are specifically looking for a freelancer - not an outsourcing company, and preference will be given to people who are local to the Vancouver/Victoria/Nanaimo area.
