5+ years experience in web application development
2+ years experience in Drupal application development.
Education: Bachelor’s degree, in a relevant technical field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and document technical requirements and solutions
* Work with product owner(s) and Technical Leads to estimate development effort
* Design and develop software using Drupal and PHP to fulfill technical and functional requirements
* Design and develop software according to best practices and internal standards
* Assist in release management activities of web sites built with Drupal
* Participate in daily meetings and regular planning and review sessions (using Scrum/Agile methodology)
* Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure complete delivery of web applications
* Interact with product owner(s) to ensure accurate requirements fulfillment
* Participate in design and code reviews
* Complete development and integration tasks on time
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
* Knowledge of traditional SDLC
* Experience with software development management tools
* Strong technical skills in PHP, Drupal, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
* Knowledge of web application security considerations
* Familiarity with AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries
* Strong user skills in various operating systems
* Experienced with SQL and database design
* Flash / Flex would be nice to have
